*Recipe*
*1kg potatoes, Peeled and cubed
*1 egg yolk
*1/2 cup of fresh milk
*salt
*black pepper
*1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
*500g ground beef
*2 tablespoon peas
*1 carrot chopped
*1 onion chopped
*2 tablespoon butter
*2 tablespoon all purpose flour
*1 cup beef stock or broth
*2 teaspoon worcestershire,
*1 teaspoon sweet paprika
*2 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley leaves.
*Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, about 14 minutes.
*While potatoes are cooking, preheat a large skillet over medium high heat.
*Add the oil to hot pan with beef . Season with salt and pepper.
*Bring the meat to brown and crumble meat for 3-4 minutes.
*Add chopped carrot and onion to the meat.
*Cook the vegetable with the meat for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
*In second small skillet over medium heat cook butter and flour together for 2 minutes.
*Whisk in broth and worcestershire sauce.
*Thicken gravy 1minutes.
*Add gravy to meat and vegetable. Stir in peas
*Drain potatoes and pure them into a bowl.
*Combine milk and egg yolk and cream.
*Add the cream mixture to the potatoes and mash until potatoes are almost smooth.
*Preheat oven.
*Fill a small rectangular casserole with meat and vegetable mixture.
*Spoon potatoes over meat evenly. Top potatoes with paprika and broil 6 to 8 inches from the heat until potatoes are evenly browned. Top casserole dish with chopped parsley and serve.
