JELLOF RICE...


Recipe:.

-1 Cup of rice
- 200g of fresh tomatoes
-tomatoes paste
-2 medium onions
-2 bay leaf
-1 teaspoon of thyme
-1 teaspoon of curry
-rosemary
-2 cloves of garlic
-1 teaspoon of ginger
-chicken or beef cubes
-salt
-1 small fresh pepper
-3-4 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- Beef or Chicken 1kg.


PREPARATION::


-Blend the fresh tomatoes with 1 onion, ginger, garlic, and pepper together.

-Pour the blended tomatoes on a sieve, let it seat for 10-20 minutes.

-Place a sauce pan on a heat, add the oil, let the oil heat a little then add the onion (chopped).

-Cook the onions until golden brown.

-Add the tomatoes paste, cubes, thyme, curry, rosemary, bay leaf and salt.

-Let them cook for 5 minutes then add blended fresh tomatoes mixture, mix and let them cook for 10 -15 minutes.

-Parboil your rice. Stem the chicken or beef (or both) with salt, water, onion, rosemary, thyme, curry and cubes.

-Cook until the meat is well cooked.
Then fry or bake (optional)

-Parboil rice, mix it with the tomatoes sauce, add the stock ( water that came out of the meat, chicken).

-Taste for salt. Cook until the rice is well cooked on a medium heat.

-Serve hot or cold.
